2024 Midwest Dementia Summit

A Gathering of Innovation, Education, & Community

The 2024 Midwest Dementia Summit brought together over 300 caregivers, professionals, and thought leaders to explore groundbreaking advancements in dementia care. Over the course of the event, attendees participated in 26 expert-led presentations, networked with peers, and discovered practical tools to enhance their caregiving journey.

From keynote sessions on innovations in dementia treatment to interactive workshops tailored for caregivers, the summit provided a rich platform for learning and collaboration. Beyond the sessions, attendees enjoyed meaningful connections through networking luncheons and a vibrant exhibit hall featuring leading organizations in dementia care.

This year’s event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our sponsors, including our title sponsor, Beacon Health System.

Voices from the 2024 Midwest Dementia Summit

Hear what attendees had to say about their experience at this year’s event:
"I came not really expecting to learn very much that was new to me after working with persons with dementia for over 10 years. Boy was I wrong! I learned so much and made some wonderful new contacts!"
“Great pace of events. Gave ample opportunity to visit vendors. Appreciated keynote speakers and post lunch presentations. The break out sessions and the "field trip" to Milton Village were fantastic!”
“Such innovative ideas and interaction with the breakout sessions I’m so glad I attended and the networking was great. Again, the keynotes were very informative and as a caregiver I could see so much gratitude for this event.”
“So happy I learned about this and was able to attend. Am the friend of one with great memory loss. This was helpful as I navigate our new stage of life.”
“The ability to switch between caregiver and professional break out sessions. Although it is important to learn all the numbers and facts that is needed, it’s important to remember to get to a different level and see what is needed and what resources are out there.”
