About the course

Patty brings over 30 years in the geriatric field. A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist and Qualified Memory Care Professional, she has worked across memory support, skilled nursing, assisted living, day programs, and rehabilitation, designing, implementing, and teaching best practices in dementia care.

Open to professionals who hold their QMCP credential. Pass the enrollment exam to begin. The Institute for Excellence in Memory Care (provider #1713) is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 06-14-2023 to 06-14-2026.
